Comentarios Finales:

  •  Existe hoy en día una alternativa de tra-
tamiento definitivo de la estenosis aortica
en pacientes de alto riesgo, o considerados
inoperables.

  •  Es necesario una cuidadosa valoración
preoperatoria de las condiciones clínicas,
como así de la anatomía del añillo valvular.

  •  La decisión sobre la realización de este
procedimiento, surge de la recomendación
de un equipo médico conformado, por clíni-
cos, cirujanos y hemodinamistas.

  •  Los resultados de la técnica son muy fa-
vorables, con un adecuado éxito periproce-
dimiento y aceptables tasas de mortalidad.
